Chemical Peels in Toronto
Professional Skin Renewal, Customized to Your Skin | starting at $70 per treatment
Chemical peels at A.T. Alternative Wellness in Toronto are professional exfoliation treatments designed to remove surface buildup and support smoother, brighter and more even-looking skin.
Every peel is selected according to your skin type, current condition, concerns and individual tolerance. Rather than using the same peel for everyone, your treatment is customized to what your skin needs at the time of your appointment.
What Can a Chemical Peel Help Improve?
• Uneven skin tone
• Rough or uneven texture
• Pigmentation and sun-related discoloration
• Dull or tired-looking skin
• Congestion and blemish-prone skin
• Post-breakout discoloration
• Fine lines and signs of skin aging
What to Expect
Your appointment begins with an assessment of your skin to determine which peel and intensity are appropriate for you.
Your skin is thoroughly cleansed and prepared before the selected peel is carefully applied. You may experience warmth, tingling or mild stinging during the treatment.
Afterward, your skin is treated with appropriate finishing products and sun protection, and you will receive guidance on how to care for your skin at home.
Visible peeling or flaking is not necessary for a chemical peel to be effective.
Recommended 6-Treatment Peel Program
While a single chemical peel can refresh the complexion, concerns such as pigmentation, uneven tone and texture often benefit from a progressive treatment plan.
For suitable clients, I recommend a series of up to 6 customized chemical peel treatments, generally spaced approximately 3–4 weeks apart.
Treatments 1–2 — Prepare & Renew
We begin gradually, allowing your skin to adjust while addressing surface buildup, dullness and uneven texture.
Treatments 3–4 — Target & Correct
As we evaluate your skin's response, treatments continue to focus on your individual concerns, such as pigmentation, congestion, uneven tone or texture.
Treatments 5–6 — Refine & Maintain
The final treatments continue the progress achieved throughout the series, supporting a smoother, brighter and more even-looking complexion.
Your peel does not automatically become stronger with every appointment. Each treatment is adjusted according to how your skin responds.
Why 3–4 Weeks Apart?
Spacing treatments approximately 3–4 weeks apart allows your skin time to recover and progress through its natural renewal process between professional exfoliation treatments.
Your exact schedule may vary depending on the type of peel, your skin condition, individual response and home-care routine.
Home Care Matters
Professional treatments are only one part of achieving healthy-looking skin.
During your peel series, proper hydration, gentle skincare and consistent broad-spectrum SPF protection are especially important. You will also receive guidance on when to temporarily stop or restart exfoliating products and other active skincare ingredients.
Your Skin Determines the Treatment
Not every skin type or condition is suitable for chemical peeling. Your skin will be assessed before treatment to determine whether a chemical peel is appropriate or whether another treatment would better support your concerns.
The goal isn't simply to make your skin peel. The goal is controlled, personalized skin renewal designed around your skin's individual needs.
